Description:
At 15.6 inches and 4.04 pounds (5.42 lb with the keyboard base attached), HP Envy x2 15 is simply too bulky for a tablet. Does it go big and heavy enough to be envied in terms of performance? For a starter, this Windows 8.1 convertible uses Intel's new self-cooling Core M processor with a surprisingly ridiculous clock base of 800MHz, though HP says that it can be temporarily cranked up to 2GHz via Turbo. Theoretically, a fanless processor enables thinner and lighter designs, but at 0.58 inch, this tablet is not thin either. On a positive note, the Envy x2 15 comes with a backlit Bluetooth-enabled keyboard base with a multi-touch clickpad, which also serves as a protective screen cover. Its IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels is not at all impressive by 2015 standards, but it supports stylus input, which expands its overall usability.
