Description:
Scaling back on most features from its predecessor, this mid-size Windows tablet got us into wondering if Lenovo was updating its Miix line backwards for the sake of affordability. Sporting a premium-looking aluminum case, the Miix 3 trails its older brother in terms of processing power (Atom 3740 vs. 3735F), display resolution (1280 x 768 vs. 1280 x 800 pixels), camera ( 2MP vs. 5MP), and battery life (5 vs. 8 hours). On the bright side, it is significantly cheaper, which makes it a potential option for those who are looking for an affordable Windows slate. One noticeable change in this tablet is its 7.85-inch IPS display which now has a 4:3 aspect ratio, similar to that of the iPad Mini. This gives the Miix 3 8 a squarer screen, which is generally favorable when viewing web pages and editing documents in both portrait and landscape orientations.
Also called Lenovo 3 MIIX 7-inch, Lenovo MIIX III 7-inch.
