Description:
The Sunpentown WC-2461H is a dual-zone 24-bottle wine cooler with a heating feature. If the ambient temperature drops below normal, its heating mechanism allows it to keep its set temperature. The two cabinets can hold up to 12 bottles each and are protected by dual-paned insulated glass doors with stainless steel trims. Made for freestanding use only, it runs on a thermoelectric system which Sunpentown promises will not use more than 1.2Kwh per day nor emit more than 36.99 decibels (though we have seen thermoelectric coolers with an even lower rating). At a suggested retail price hovering around the $300 mark, we see this unit as an affordable way to get a dual-zone French door (they are generally quite expansive) wine cooler in your home.
